Bess-Serena Ringham was born on April 29th 1972 and comes from Queensland Australia. Bess has two sisters and a brother. Bess is so incredibly talented and has been the lead singer in many bands one of those was called 'Brilliant Creatures'.
Other Bands Bess-Serena has worked in include 'So Real' and a band in Singapore called 'Electric'
Bess-Serena left 'Brilliant Creatures' to join Savage Garden and was the lead backing singer with them until she left in July 1997. Bess-Serena also appears in the Savage Garden video 'Break Me Shake Me' and also on the cd single of 'Break Me Shake Me' the acoustic version on that cd single.
Since her time with Savage Garden Bess has been working and traveling and has spent some time in the US working with other writers.
Bess-Serena has worked at both Movie World and Dream World dressing up as characters such as Catwoman and Wonder Woman
Bess is a huge fan of Jeff Buckley, some other music artists Bess-Serena listens to are Stellar 111, Pearl Jam, Powderfinger, Diana Ah Naid, Iota, Foo Fighters, Lauryn Hill, Ani DiFranco, Fiona Apple, Bic Runga and George
Bess-Serena has been performing on the Gold Coast for the last few months and has just finished up there to concentrate on her cd.
Bess is currently working on putting out her own cd which we will all hopefully get to hear soon but until then you hear Bess sings on Aussie band 'Iris's' EP 'The Distance til Empty' the song Bess-Serena sings on is called 'Seek Beauty' and she sounds amazing on this, she also features on the Neil Wearne cd 'Stuck on the Cross' on the songs 'The Secret' and 'Let it Go'. You can also hear her sing backing vocals on 'george's' debut album 'polyserena' on the track 'chemical dreams'
